Tivat is situated in the central part of Boka Kotorska bay. Despite being the newest town in the Boka region, Tivat boasts a wealth of interesting and attractive destinations. Porto Montenegro Born from the vision of its main investor, Canadian businessman Peter Munk, Porto Montenegro's state-of-the-art marina makes use of the existing infrastructure of the former Yugoslav naval facility on which it is built. A UNESCO World Heritage site, the Bay of Kotor is Europe's southernmost fjord and the largest natural harbour in the eastern Mediterranean.
