Postcards from Cusco 04 Days / 03 Nights

DAY 1: CUSCO IN – VISITING THE CITY OF CUSCO AND ITS SURROUNDINGS

Upon arrival in Cusco, we will be greeted at the airport and transferred to your chosen hotel. At 12:30 PM, we will begin our tour of the city's historic center, first visiting the Cusco Cathedral, known for its imposing colonial architecture. We will then continue to the Temple of Qoricancha, the ultimate expression of Inca architecture, which currently houses the Convent of Santo Domingo. Afterward, we will head to the Archaeological Park, where we will explore the impressive ruins of Sacsayhuamán and the Qenqo astronomical observatory. At the end of the visit, we will return to the hotel to rest.

DAY 2: SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS

Breakfast at the hotel. At 7:30 AM, we will begin our tour of the Sacred Valley, starting in Pisaq to explore its impressive archaeological complex and visit the artisan market, ideal for purchasing beautiful handicrafts. Next, we'll follow the course of the Vilcanota River toward the Urubamba Valley, where we'll enjoy a buffet lunch. In the afternoon, we'll continue to Ollantaytambo to explore its marvelous archaeological complex. At the end of the tour, we'll return to your hotel in Cusco.

DAY 3: RAINBOW MOUNTAIN - VINICUNCA

At 4:30 a.m., we will pick up our passengers and transfer to the foothills of Nevado Ausangate to begin our adventure to Rainbow Mountain. We will stop in the town of Cusipata for a hearty breakfast. After a brief chat, we will begin a hike of approximately 3 hours with a professional guide, who will reveal the customs and mysticism of the majestic Andean mountain range. On the way back, we will return to Cusipata for lunch. Arrival at your hotel in Cusco is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.

DAY 4: CUSCO OUT

Breakfast at the hotel and free morning to explore the city at your own pace. At the scheduled time, transfer to the airport for your departure.
